Extra Safety - SOLAS Reflective Tape for increased night and daytime visibility

  • Buoy made from durable 210D Nylon coated with TPU with welded seams and stitched edge tape to prevent fraying.

  • SOLAS Reflective Tape, Lightstick holder top looped handle for slate attachment and easy handling.

  • Remains fully inflated until you release the air by pulling on the Dump Valve / Over-Pressure Valve toggle

  • Rolled up the Buoy can be stowed in the carry pouch with BCD attachment

How to deploy
The SMB is inflated by purging a regulator or exhaling into the open end. The self-closing baffle (duck bill valve) forms an air tight seal to prevent accidental air spillage on ascent and at the surface.
The over-pressure/dump valve releases the air automatically on ascent; by pulling the dump cord you can easily deflate the buoy on the surface.
The "SELF-SEALING BUOY" has the advantage that it can be waved above your head for attracting attention without spilling air.

Color: Comes in 3 color options: Neon Yellow, Safety Orange and Orange/Yellow Combo

Neon Yellow :
Both sides of the buoy are yellow. This is normally used by tech divers in most parts of the world during ascent to signal that the diver or a member of the team has encountered a problem and may require immediate assistance by the support team. A dive slate can be attached to the top handle communicating the nature of the problem.
The contrast provided by the two alternating panels with the added effect of the Solas tape will ensure that you stand out.

Safety Orange:
Both sides of the buoy are orange. This is normally used by tech divers in most parts of the world during their ascent and decompression stop to signal the All OK.

Orange/ Yellow Combo:
With both an orange and a yellow panel this is by far the most visible combo for the recreational diver.
The ORANGE panel is more visible in bright sunlight and significant glare.
While the YELLOW panel will prove its worth as light deteriorates or the clouds move in.
